Langory offers an innovative approach to language learning through AI-powered interactive stories.
Our platform uses advanced algorithms to create personalized, engaging narratives that adapt to your learning pace and preferences.
While we strive for accuracy, users acknowledge that AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors.

AI-Generated Content and Safety

Users acknowledge that stories on Langory are generated by artificial intelligence.
We have implemented safety guardrails to ensure safe and enjoyable stories for all users.
Despite our best efforts, issues may occasionally occur with AI-generated content.
We continuously refine our AI system to improve content quality.
We welcome user feedback to enhance our AI content generation.
Langory assumes no liability for unexpected AI-generated content.
Users are encouraged to report any concerns about story content to our support team at hello@langory.com.
We take all reports seriously and will investigate and address issues promptly.

Account Creation and Management

You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
Users must be at least 18 years old to use Langory. Users under 18 must ask their parent/legal guardian to use the solution.
One login is intended for one user only. Sharing login credentials is not permitted.

Points System

Langory uses a points-based system to track progress and incentivise learning.
Each time users complete actions - make story choices, answer quiz questions correctly, they get point fractions.
20 point fractions make one full point.
Points have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash or other goods outside the Langory platform.
The points system, including earning rates and redemption values, may be subject to change to optimize user experience and engagement.
Langory reserves the right to adjust, add, or remove point-based features at any time.

Privacy Policy and Data Collection

We collect and use data to improve our service and your learning experience. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Account information (email address)
- Learning patterns and preferences
- Story preferences and completion rates
- Time spent on the platform
- Feature usage
We use Microsoft Clarity, Microsoft Advertising, Google Analytics, and Meta Pixel to capture how you use and interact with our website in order to improve the product. Ways we measure includes, but is not limited to:
- Behavioral metrics
- Heatmaps
- Session replay
- User journey analysis
- Conversion tracking
- Ad performance and targeting
This data is used to improve and market our products/services, for site optimization, and fraud/security purposes.
We do not collect any personal information beyond your email address.
Your learning progress, preferences, and usage data are associated with your account but are not linked to your real-world identity.

We are not using any data for advertising.

Content and Intellectual Property

All content provided through Langory, including stories, images, and educational materials, is owned by Langory or used with permission.
Users may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Langory content without explicit permission.

Subscription and Payments

Langory offers a Family Plan subscription at 299 NOK per month. The Family Plan includes:

One parent account with unlimited access to all learning features.
Ability to create up to two kid accounts.
Kid accounts have the same features as parent accounts but cannot create additional kid accounts.

All payments are processed securely through Stripe, our trusted third-party payment processor.
Subscription fees are generally non-refundable, except as outlined in our ‘100% money back guarantee - no questions asked’ or where required by law.
You may cancel your subscription at any time, effective at the end of the current billing cycle.
Langory offers a ‘100% money back guarantee - no questions asked’ for up to 3 months

If you are not satisfied with our service, you can request a full refund for up to 3 months of your subscription.
We will only be able to refund the money you have spent with us.
To request a refund, email hello@langory.com stating that you are unsatisfied with the service.
Refund requests under our ‘100% money back guarantee’ will be processed without hassle upon receipt of your email. It may take up to 10 business days for the money to reappear in your bank.
After 3 months of subscription have passed, the ‘100% money back guarantee - no questions asked’ is no longer applicable.
If you are not satisfied with our service, you can request a full refund for up to 3 months of your subscription.

Langory offers a referral program for active subscribers.

To participate, referrers must have an active subscription.
Referrers can invite friends using a unique coupon code provided in the app.
Referred friends (referees) must enter this coupon code at checkout to receive a 10% discount on their subscription.
Referees must maintain an active subscription for the referrer to receive benefits.
For each successfully referred friend with an active subscription, the referrer receives a 10% discount on their own subscription.
Referral discounts can accumulate up to a maximum of 100%, potentially resulting in a free subscription for the referrer.

Langory reserves the right to modify or terminate the referral program at any time.

Note: Langory Family Plan offer, guarantee, and referral program do not apply to any other subscription plan or any other product of Langory (e.g.: Langory for Education, Langory for learning a language).
- Langory for Education is only available based on individual/institution needs or circumstances.

Subscription and Payments

Langory may offer paid subscription tiers with additional features.
All payments are processed securely through trusted third-party payment processors.
Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
You may cancel your subscription at any time, effective at the end of the current billing cycle.

Limitation of Liability

Langory provides its service on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis.
We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
Langory is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

Termination

Langory reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or for any other reason at our discretion.
Users may terminate their account at any time by contacting our support team.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Norway.
Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Oslo, Norway.

Changes to Terms and Policies

We may update these terms, privacy practices, and cookie policies periodically. We encourage you to review them regularly.
Significant changes will be communicated via email.
Continued use of Langory after updates constitutes acceptance of the new terms and policies.
