Choose a variety of story types

They will start by choosing the language they want to learn and the story genre they like most. We currently support eight languages: Norwegian, English, Romanian, Spanish, German, Portuguese, French and Italian; and three story genres: Medieval, Detective, and Sci-fi.

Foreign language in the story

Throughout the story, some sentences will be in the foreign language previously picked. These sentences can be clicked to get a direct translation. In this example, your child is learning Spanish and speaks English.

Get words translated and explained

Your kid can get a translation of each word by clicking the one they want to find out. Then, our platform will provide the context-aware explanation, conjugation and some example sentences.

Make choices that affect the story

As the story progresses, your child will make decisions that directly influence the story's outcome. This is the fun and exciting part. In this example, the main character is faced with a difficult choice: he has to pick whether to follow the map from his mentor, postpone the mission, or improvise on the spot. The next chapters of the story will reflect this choice.

Quiz at the end

At the end of the story, there will be a quiz. This is where your child gets to test their understanding of the language they are learning. The quiz mainly asks questions on translations from the foreign language to the chosen language, and reinforces your child's learning.
